Nestled in the beautiful region of La Mauricie , "La Maison Belllemare" sits on the banks of the St-Maurice river in the picturesque town of St-Jean des Piles, Québec. Bordering the Mauricie National Park, the property is a short walk to its main entrance.
Built in 1948 by the renowned provincial cabinet minister Maurice Bellemare, the property is rich in history and period architecture.
Offering three bedrooms year round with full breakfast and five distinct cottages seasonally , guests will benefit from a tranquil , beautiful and peaceful environment.
OUR COTTAGES
Our thematic cottages are available seasonally and cater to four comfortably. Each have a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one double bed in one room and two single beds in the other), a toilet, a dining and living area. Complete amenities are included - bedding, kitchen ware, coffee maker (filter), available BBQs and much more to make your stay an extraordinary one!
You also have at your disposal a Service Cottage with showers

Breakfast
A complete sit-down breakfast is included with your room stay (B&B). For our guests in our cottages, you can order your breakfast for a fee if you like. Seasonal ingredients from the region are always part of our cuisine, from local maple products to typical regional gastronomy!

The property is nestled next to the Mauricie National Park.
The property is entirely available to our guests, from our Adirondak chairs to the gazibo!
Special Events
La Maison Bellemare offers from time to time special musical events showcasing local talents in various musical genres.These soirées may also include dinner featuring local chefs and/or gastronomy. Be part of our mailing list to stay informed!
